So recently I had tooken upon a guild jumping hobby of finding bad guilds that advirtise that they are good, but once you join, they have crappy members or rules. Today's story?
I had found what seemed to be a decent PvE guild. Got along GREAT with the members and a lot of the vent people. And then this happened after I had FINALLY gotten my tormented shield...

Are you sure all these guilds are bad, and it's not just your immature behaviour?

I mean, all the excuses are really dumb and retarded. I mean, if someone has children, shouldn't you enable the filter AND teach them right from wrong? This is the oldest excuse in the book. The result of not doing shit is the result is being a BAD PARENT. Be it a huge pussy who shields their child from life, or someone who doesn't teach or discipline them. It's just bad parenting. And if you're so against it, why play a game that has swearing in official dialogue?
So, all of a sudden you're an expert on parenting? Fallacy: Appeal to False Authority. Have you ever thought that parents don't want their children to be corrupted by the immature remarks of another player? Perhaps parents want their children to be able to enjoy their innocence. The possibility that parents want their children to act with a shred of decency? I don't quite understand how a protective parent is a "pussy". Perhaps you lacked a proper rolemodel, and see others performing the duties of a parent as weak. Furthermore, could you please supply some evidence showing that limiting the amount of swearing a child hears is bad parenting?

And to those that just plain hate swearing, why the hell play Guild Wars? Of all games, an MMO that warns about swearing on its label!
AND it has a T rating, in which, you should KNOW words like "bitch" are thrown around. Haven't you ever played Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete? Even one of the most touching love stories in video games uses swearing. And did you know even E rated games have swearing? At the start of Grandia, in one of the FIRST dialogue pieces of the game, you read the word "Bastards" CLEARLY!
If you're just plain a pussy despite it being accepted by society, GW has a CENSORE option be DEFAULT!
There ya' go. All hell won't break loose with the censore filter.
Bitch is not loosely thrown around in guild wars as you would have your audience believe. Could you please show me an example within the actual text of the game where bitch, shit, ass, or pussy is used? The only potential swear word i have ever heard is damn. Moreover, damn is not used as a swear word within the context of the actual game. And about your rant on rating, it is a Red Herring fallacy, as it has nothing to do with the actual argument. If you have an issue with the ratings of games, please take it up with the Entertainment Software Rating Board. Here's a link:http://www.esrb.org/index-js.jsp. I'm sure they have some way to acess them there.

ut furthermore, if someone hates swearing soooo much, why are they even alive?
I go outside, I see people calling each other "niggaz" as a common slang, and I hear a variety of other swear words when friends are just casually having fun each other. It's real life and part of our modern-day society. There's no fricken reason to dramatize or complain.
Discuss, yes. But we're talking a whole other level.
As to why people who dislike swearing are stil alive, there is an entire biology review i could go over explaining the different ways of death, and how swearing is not part of it. Your assumption that swearing is part of our modern-day society is false. Swearing is looked down upon in our society. The "n word" is a derogatory word for a black man, and alludes to a time of strife and hardship. It is highly looked down upon within our society. And as for your friends, that is a Biased Sample fallacy. Honestly, your argument is completely pathetic, and you have no idea what you are talking about. Also, I am in this alliance and from day one you are told to keep the bad language to a minimum. There is also a reminder EVERY day in alliance chat about language. Your blatant disregard for this rule gives you no room to complain. That is all.
